Title: "The Seal of God and the Final Crisis"

Text: Revelation 7:1–3; 14:1–5; Ezekiel 20:12, 20
Theme: Understanding the sealing of God’s people and their protection during earth’s last days.

I. Introduction

  1. Opening Prayer (as in the transcript) – Inviting the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

  2. Context:

    • The sealing is God’s answer to the question: “Who shall be able to stand?” (Rev. 6:17).

    • A divine pause before global destruction (Rev. 7:1–3).

II. Four Key Questions About the Seal

A. What Is the Seal of the Living God?

  1. Biblical Definition:

    • A mark of ownership and protection (Rev. 7:3; Ezek. 9:4).

    • Threefold Seal:

      • Truth (God’s law, Isa. 8:16).

      • Sabbath (sign of sanctification, Ezek. 20:12).

      • Holy Spirit (seal of redemption, Eph. 4:30).

  2. Spirit of Prophecy Insight:

    • “A settling into the truth intellectually and spiritually” (Mar 200).

B. Why Does God Seal His People?

  1. Protection (Rev. 7:3; Early Writings, p. 71).

  2. Vindication of God’s Character:

    • They reflect Christ’s image fully (DA 671).

  3. Final Testimony:

    • Prove Satan’s accusation wrong (Rev. 12:10–11).

C. When Does the Sealing Happen?

  1. Chronology:

    • After the latter rain (SM1 66).

    • After the national Sunday law (Mar 164).

    • Just before probation closes (Rev. 22:11; SM1 66).

  2. Visual Timeline:

    • Early rain → Shaking → Latter rain → Sunday law → Loud cry → Sealing → Close of probation → Time of trouble.

D. Who Receives the Seal?

  1. The 144,000 (Rev. 7:4–8):

    • Spiritual Israel (Rom. 2:28–29; Gal. 3:29).

    • Overcomers with “the Father’s name” (Rev. 14:1).

  2. A Minority:

    • Shaking removes multitudes (4T 89).

    • Many martyred or “laid to sleep” (SM2 259; CH 375).

III. The Time of Trouble

  1. After the Sealing:

    • Winds of destruction released (Rev. 7:1–3).

    • No intercessor (Rev. 15:8; EW 280).

  2. Jacob’s Trouble:

    • Spiritual anguish over sin’s blottings (Jer. 30:7; EW 71).

    • Protected but tested (Dan. 12:1).

IV. Practical Applications

  1. Prepare Now:

    • Seek the latter rain (Zech. 10:1).

    • Overcome defects of character (Rev. 3:21).

  2. Stand Firm:

    • Truth is settled now—not in crisis (Mar 200).

  3. Mission Focus:

    • The “eleventh-hour” workers (Matt. 20:6–9; LDE 212).

V. Closing Appeal & Prayer

  1. Call to Action:

    • “The seal is Christ’s likeness in us—let Him refine you” (Mal. 3:3).

  2. Prayer Focus:

    • Church unity, prophecy seminars, and personal revival.

Final Thought:

“The sealing isn’t a distant event—it’s the culmination of a life surrendered to Christ today.”
