About the Event
The Cedar Lake Seventh-day Adventist church is celebrating 147 years as a congregation and 50 years in our church building.
The Cedar Lake Church was officially founded on July 3, 1879, with 13 charter members. The congregation has always considered our youth a high priority, so before building a church they opened a school in 1898.
After almost 100 years the building of a separate church became a reality. They broke ground in June of 1975 and had an Open House celebration after the church was completed on May 8, 1976.
So, 50 years later, on May 8-9, 2026, we are celebrating this accomplishment and how God has richly blessed us!
